Privacy

founderlobby works without an account, so we keep very little about you.

What we store

• Your messages. Everything you post is public and visible to anyone who opens the lobby.
• Your lobby card. The name and optional startup name and link you set.
• A random token in your browser. Saved in your browser's local storage so the lobby recognises you next time. We only store a one-way hash of it.
• A one-way hash of your IP address. Used for rate limits, reports and bans. We don't store the address itself.
• Presence. When you last had the lobby open, to show how many people are here now. Cleared after a day.

Payments

Pins and sponsor cards are paid through Dodo Payments, which processes the payment and handles your card details. We receive the order details you enter (domain, product name, tagline, amount) and whether the payment succeeded.

Logos

Startup logos come from Google's favicon service, fetched by our server, so your browser doesn't contact Google for them.

Visitor counts

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't follow you to other sites. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you, and coarse device and country information.

No tracking

We don't use advertising cookies and nothing is shared with advertisers. Links to sponsors and pinned startups pass through our server so we can count clicks, and add ref=founderlobby to the address.
